realisation tt i'm gonna get confined a small island soon is starting to hit me... haha, constant reminder from pple around doesn't help, but i know they dun mean it. guess it'll be hard for them too huh? sighs...

i guess everyone is just scared tt we wun be able to see each other in a long long time... a definite possibly since there r only tt many free days... just hope we'll all be able to stay in touch somehow...

anyway, these past few days have been great... was at nick's chalet... am too lazy to elaborate much... but, I'll miss all of u... :'( nick, zp, val, sel, daryl, dorinda, cynthia, dax, greg, wilmur (lol!!), jonas and everyone else too... i hope i get a chance to do this again...

and then u realise all this is so miniscule compared to the things happening around in the world. the death toll is close to 100 k now... :/ sighs. its really sad tt a warning system is not in place in the indian ocean, when such a warning system has been in place in the pacific ocean 40 years ago. am glad japan is willing to lend her expertise to help set up such a system in the indian ocean. maybe such a disaster could be avoided again. its really very sad that so many people suddenly are just wiped out. its incomprehensible in fact. its just so hard to imagine. i can't bear to look at the pictures... its quite depressing. bah.

alrite, so after going to these few places, I can say Singapore is really the best for shopping. Orchard Road is fab. the whole design is great cuz its so many many shops squeezed into a small area, so minimal walking distance, and maximum aircon! ;) its like such shopping malls dun exist in europe, and u have to walk in and out of shops in wet weather if its raining... ah ha! tt's the beauty of Orchard... and we can find basically most of the stuff here in singapore too...

Singapore is really a beautiful city, yeah, but not a beautiful country u see... it doesn't have natural scenery like most countries have, cuz we are just but a city. But i feel, as a city, we're doing v well... so i'm quite proud of our design and all... :)

I guess I'm overall, rather happy w singapore... if we were just a little more open and less mechnical and kiasu plus more polite in general, and the place weren't so overpopulated, i'd love this place even more... :) haha... the cheap cost of living is such a relief... ;)

am kinda glad to have left switzerland for france... the weather here is far more agreeable. less cold and windy, and somehow, it feels good to see green rolling valleys as opposed to barren snow fields... ;) anyway, last nite was spent in lausanne, capitale de olymique! woo, finally entered the french speaking cantons of switzerland... ah sighs, french is such a beautiful language, can here it rolling off the tongues... i wish i had learnt it all four years... now i can do is speak rubbish... well, at least today at the shop, i managed to tell her what i wanted in french. dun laugh, i just told her 3 small eiffel towers. and off course, merci beaucoup and bonjour etc. sadness. i'm determined to learn the language again, hopefully in uni, or maybe during boring NS days? ;) haha... i'll see...

anyway, the next day, we went to visit the olympic musuem... lausanne is actually where everyone assembles to vote for the host city for the olympics every 2 years... the place was less grand than i expected... haha. well, i would've expected something so impt to be v v grand... but well, it was quite simple. hmmm, curious. after that, we left for geneva! beautiful beautiful city... :) wonder architecture, ancient cathedrals, and a nice lake! haha, and french speaking too! :) love it! and went to see the red cross head quarters... interesting story behind it. apparently this rich guy in geneva founded it, and spent so much money on helping pple until he went bankrupt... and so of course head quarters in geneva. oops, forgot tt guy's name... :/ visited the reformation monument (marks the rise of protestants against the catholic church cuz the catholic church was too extravagent and corrupt), and the UN Humanitarian head quarters... again, not grand? :( haha... oh wells, visited many other places, but am lazy to list every thing down... and my guide so can't pronounce anything french... :P

hope paris is as beautiful as i imagined... its always been my dream to visit paris since young... hope it turns out just as i imagine... :) hope i wish i were french... the pple here are so elegant and good looking and the language, the buildings... and yes, their one of the few races tt have food tt can even come close to chinese food... so far nothing even comes close to chinese or french cuisine! yumm... :)

currently in a hotel in paris... just had a nice long bubble bath... :) day's been quite gd, except for certain pple who keep bugging me even though i'm overseas. should've just switched off my phone. bah. anyway, left burgundy in the morning and headed to paris! on the way, we toured the versailles palace... wow, its a fine piece of work man. so so grand, with its beautiful painted roofs, the ornaments made of gold, grand flooring, crystal chandeliers, high walls, lush gardens (with patterns) and the endless lakes. it stunning really... :) no wonder there was the french revolution to overthrow the king... he lived in such luxury! :/ and i'm sure yh, yuan and moby will remember marie antionette and "eat cake".. lol! ;)

okie... then we went into the city for shopping first... the city is so beautiful, just as i had imagined. its really like great older architecture intergrated into modern buildings... the high rise buildings are else where... and the lighting and all, it just enhances the beauty of the whole place... tres beau! :) its xmas season, and pple are shopping everywhere, so it was so crowded... :( haha, really, there are police to control shopping crowds... haha! went round the place to buy stuff, thankfully stuff here is slightly less ex than in switzerland... ;) went to galerie lafayette, and boy is it large! its got 3 buildings, each five storeys huge, and v large... think its even larger than ngee ann city in area... impressive! have to plan tmr's journey later cuz its free day...
after walking round, we boarded the bus to transport us to a cruise. shit, the traffic so bad. we were stuck in this 50m stretch of road for like 15min... haha! but we made it to the cruise on river seine... its so gorgeous at nite! all the monuments like the eiffel tower, the notre dame and the mini statue of liberity (real one), and all the museums and what not are so nice at nite... illuminated greatly! and of course, its so different what u're seeing it on a river... :) it was v v cold though, with the stupid wind blowing everywhere. the pictures aren't v nice cuz the boat's travelling too fast to take many nice pix... :( oh well, come see it for yrself next time... :)

last nite in paris... :( oh, i'm so in love with paris... haha, think this will be one of the highlights of my journey... dun think i'd like london as much... ;) paris has a huge circle in its center, where the arc de triumphe is... then, there are 12 spokes radiating from it. the circle is really really huge, so it can fit practically 5 or 6 cars in terms of width quite comfortably. then there are different avenues in the city, up to a total of 20 if i remember correctly. and of course avenue 1 is closest to the center... prices are so steep in any of the avenues... average rental of 3000 euros for a 2 room apartment... and i u wanna buy, its 2000 euro per square meter. or, SGD4400... haha. and these are like 100 year old apartments... and pple complain property prices in singapore are high... :/ okie, we took a tour of the city, its quite interesting cuz the older buildings are really well preserved... so basically for many km, all the buildings are not higher than 6 storeys, all of the same height unless its something special, like a chateau or whatever. the sidewalks are super spacious and all, so its quite nice... :) went up the tour eiffel, and the structure is really quite interesting. took pix from interesting angles, so u can check them out... :P oh, and the wonder thing is cuz everything is not more than 6 storeys high, when u do go up the tower, u get to unobstructed view for like as far as u can see... tres bonne! also saw notre dame, its such an amazing piece of work, taking 200 years to finish. i wish i got down there to see, but sighs, spent too long in the louvre, and it was getting quite late, so i didn't go in the end... :( took some pix as we passed by in the coach though...

after lunch, went to the louvre musuem... its also quite a huge building, former palace... wow, it really has dunno how many km of exhibits. u got literally take days if u wanna stop and look at every piece of art for just 1 min... so i just went to see a few select pieces, like Mona Lisa (duh), venus di milo, napolean's self coronation, and some other stuff... its quite an amazing collection i must say... mona lisa is quite small a painting really... haha. and i'm really surprised at how open the whole museum is, its like all these world famous paintings and sculptures hardly have any guards... and even the venus di milo can be touched?!! :/ gosh... will be such a tragedy if any gets damaged somehow... anyway, i seem to be a terrible target by all these stupid pple selling souvenirs. wth, like at the eiffel tower, had like 2 or 3 pple tailing me, and there were so many other pple on e same tour as me not attended to?! and i repeatedly said no, and someone even got angry at me for not buying? like, go ask someone else can? lol. then at the louvre, had like 3 different pple ask me to have my caricacture drawn. one said i've interesting hair (lol), so he wanted to draw me. another one said i've funny shoes (err, wrong approach)... lol, and the last one said i'd make a nice model for him, and gave me half price, and said he would draw n if i didn't like it wun have to buy it...! :) i was so tempted, but well, it was v cold n still q ex, and i had no wish to stand there waiting... ;)

after the louvre, took a looooong walk down to champs elysees... wah it was a v long walk. bah. cuz of tt, couldn't go notre dame. well well, champs elysees wasn't as amazing as i expected... its just like orchard road, with a larger crowd and sidewalks 2-3 times as large, shops all quite ex and v v huge... haha! and of course, no shopping centers, there aren't any in paris i think... but seriously, i feel tt after visiting singapore, orchard has the potential to be one of the best shopping hubs in the world, if we expand the sidewalks somehow, enlarge shops and have more branded stuff around. just need to make it more classy, cuz the shopping space is there liao, and in fact its v gd cuz its all so concentrated... just need to make it more up class. hehe, will be waiting for tt to happen... :)

oh, took metro today! manage to navigate my family round, so happy! :) there are like 20 lines lor... and well, stations not as nice as SG... but gd thing is its all underground, so it saves lotsa space, and is well concealed. AND the trains arrive like every min or less, so its damn fast... and the trains move faster than in SG... v efficient system. not v safe and as comfortable, but v efficient and somewhat less crowded cuz of how fast trains come... :)

hmmm, lack of cheap internet connection is no fun... :( bah. well, 2 more days n i'll get some net access huh? :) anyway, in london now... apparently everyone is so much happier than in Paris, cuz they feel more welcomeed here... partly cuz of the fact tt everything's in english, and tt e pple r less snobbish abt their language... ;)

oh wells, the stupid pound is so strong, 3.4:1 is just... :/ haha... it used to be 2.8 last time... :( had a sucky flight here... the stupid terminal at Paris caught fire and we were trapped in the boarding lounge for 2 hours! bah. so retarded... :( the 2 hour delay was so boring, cuz the lounge had nothing... :( changi airport is really world class i can tell u... its so so good... :)

so far my impression london... hmmm, bad traffic. the roads are too narrow, and there are too many cars. the air is so polluted, and well, it isn't as cultural as paris, where so many many buildings have been preserved... but it seems the stuff are more affordable, there are less upmarket stuff, unlike in paris where everything is exhorbitant. haha. i actually managed to buy clothes! ;) haha... there are so many plays and musical going on though, i'm having a hard time trying to decide what to watch tmr... but it'll probably be les miserable, chicago or phantom of the opera... hehe. can't wait! its been quite long since i watched a musical or play of any sort...
think i'm going to have such an exhausting time when i reach singapore... maybe i dun wanna go back so early anymore. quite contrary to how i've been feeling the few days before...
PS: the british are no where as gd looking as the french... lol! they're plumper, and their features aren't as gd. the french are really a beautiful race... deep set eyes, long lashes, nice high noses... the girls all have such good hair and skin, and the guys have nice jaws... hehe. should migrate here... ;)

london is boring... its so lousy compared to paris. river thames is brown, while river seine is clear. the air here stinks! lol, the trains take much longer to come than in paris and they travel sooo much slower, and the roads are so freaking narrow... :/ bah. haha... oh, but the number of musicals n shows tt run here is phenomenal! i could practically catch anything i'd ever wanted to watch... in the end, i ended up watching chicago! boy was it good... so sensual and funny! lol... after watching the play, i feel the movie was a v gd adaptation... :)

going home soon... sighs... wonder what awaits me back at home... :(

dun be expecting gifts from europe... the things here are so ex... macs today was... hurhur. ex! i dunno how else to describe it. like a big mac meal there costs 10.9CH, which is abt SGD15?! haha... so a meal at macs could get u quite a bit at marche back in singapore for example... looks like anyone who intends to retire here or migrate here had better reconsider. u'd be darn poor if u ever come here... but seriously, its a really nice place to retire if u've the money...

hmmm, today was not a good day... was supposed to see the Matterhorn peak, but well, the weather sucked and it was too cloudy so we hardly got to see much. nothing much more to say since we were travelling for a large portion of the time... haha. nice scenery? lol. well, the weather sucks now. leaving for france tmr... where things just get more ex. the euro is just too strong gosh! its like an optional show is Euro 125... tt is SGD270? lol... madness... i'm annoyed at the high cost of living here. grrr.

today's (15/12/2004) generally been quite nice... :) we did quite a bit of sight seeing..! yeah, i really love the scenery here... we went up mount titlis, 3050m in height... wow, the view is spectacular... when u see the pictures, u'll understand... :) the white snow, the bright sun and the clear air, something i've never quite seen before. the air was so crisp and fresh, absolutely unpolluted... wow! hur, and there were many beautiful and crystal clear lakes where u could see the reflection of the mountains in them. i wish singapore had anything close to tt... hee... i'm slowly beginning to enjoy this as much as i think i would if i were on an island paradise with soft sands and blue scintillating seas.. :) haha!

i'm so in love with everything swiss right now... if not for the fact i miss pple back home, i might just stay here... ;) haha. the toilets here are so clean, the streets everything. the pple here are really well bred and v considerate, which explains the cleaniness since i see less cleaners around than in singapore... hmmm, the people are so absolutely polite too... v helpful and courteous... i feel so well received! haha... the car drivers would stop from a distance for pedestrians, and the service in restaurants is excellent! like today, some pple couldn't take spicy food, the restaurant owner just gave them a few extra dishes and when the pple offered to pay, the owner just said there was no need. wow... haha! and the pple here are much less racist than most caucasian nations, like australian for example. haha, as in they are v willing to interact with u... lol! today in this cable car, this swiss couple asked why i was speaking english to my tour guide... and asked if my tour guide didn't speak japanese... i was like... haha, do i look v jap?! i always get mistaken for being jap or korean... :/ hehe... well, that means i'm not the typical yellow skinned, slit eyed chinese... ;) it was v amusing and they were really friendly. not sure if they know where singapore is though... lol!

we took cable cars up the mountain... changing 3 different types of cable cars. first is the normal kind we're accustomed to... then, a huge one tt can fit sooo many pple! then finally, this circular cable in which the inside rotates so tt we get to get all parts of the mountains as we ascend. sometimes when i'm in malaysia or china taking cable cars, i feel so unsafe... but here though we're going up so high, there was never a moment of fear cuz these cars and cables are al swiss made! :) seriously, they're so safe and well maintained tt u never feel scared. they are so technology advanced. i was wondering why their highways had no snow on them though it snowed earlier... and the guide said tt they had hot water in pipes under them to melt the snow so there was no need to clear snow. quite smart! :) haha, i could just go on and on... but well, i guess not. to put it simply, i'm impressed w the pple and everything else here... other than my freezing toes... ;)

sighs, i hope i've internet connection at the hotel i'm going to tmr. it'd absolutely suck if i'm still stuck like this. replying to smses is costly... but i wanna use sms. the irony. its really hard to adapt from my usual patterns of msging. bah.

anyway, it was miserably cold today... my toes are dying. i think my jacket is superb... it looks real nice, and is v snug and warm. i love it! :) hee.. the pocket with nice zips are really convenient for me to dump my camera, phones and what nots in it without worrying... yay. :)
by the way, these 2 nites i've been at interlaken... today went up another mountain... jung frau joch. its really high, and we went there by rail... :) the view was spectacular, but slowly its becoming less amazing cuz it seems there's not shortage of beautiful scenery in europe... :) hmmm, we didn't get to ski or go on the sleight rides today cuz the snow was too thick... not tt i was particularly keen since it was -11C and winds were 44km/h strong.. :/

not feeling too well now, have not been sleeping well. now i'm producing really thick mucus which is blood red. hmmm... wonder what tt means. hope i dun fall ill... :/
the stuff here is really expensive. i'm sorry if i'm unable to buy presents for u guys... but a meal here is like $200+?! haha... a lamb chop is abt 35CH, which is abt SGD50. haha. gifts are equally ex... :/ i guess it'd be even worse in france, and even worse in england. bah... the other families i'm touring w must be freaking rich... they other so much! and buy so much... hurhur. or maybe they've just been saving lotsa money... ;)

k, shall start of with the flight... haha. as usual, the flight sucked for me... well, it always does... :/ bah. there were a ton of movies i wanted to catch... Bourne Identidy, Manchurian Candidate and Princess Diaries 2 were just some... but yeah, of course i had to feel airsick as usual... sighs. it makes my flights so miserable cuz i just feel like puking all the time... :( anyway, so what happened was that i had supper on the plane, and smartly decided not to have breakfast... cuz shortly after when i was supposed to have breakfast, my stomach became highly upset and attempted to puke... hurhur, too bad, i outsmarted my stomach and there was nothing to puke out... so i didn't make a mess... :P

after landing, wow, i must say i wasn't too smart with my choice of socks... ;) i chose adidas clima cool socks... and yes, so my toes had it the rest of the day. was freaking numb and painful... poor them... :( well, the day has been quite ok... nothing terribly exciting, except maybe the cold and the horrendous price of everything here... ;) haha. oh, but it snowed! :D so tt was cool... can't believe the tour arranged for chinese food for lunch... ermm... we are in an european country? y r we not trying their cuisine? so annoying. and seriously, the food here is so ex, i ate a piece of desert, v yummy, but it cost 9.50CH?! :( tt's like close to SGD$15... i could get half a cake back in singapore... the scenery here is v nice, and the pace of life is pretty slow... :) really nice place to migrate to if u're thinking of doing so... people are quite friendly, and there's quite a bit of asians here... and it snows! :D haha!

visited bern and lucerne today... both are rather small towns, but the cost of living is still tremendous in these areas... :/ hmmm, get to go on the mountains tmr... bet its gonna be freezing, but well, nice view huh? :)

grad nite and preparations were quite fun... was really lazy and didn't wanna look for a shirt, so i just bought whatever had caught my eye a few days before rather than what i had in mind... well, it looked fine i guess... sunday! haha, checked into the hotel quite late (but its quite early cuz i would've gone later had i not be rushed... :P)... so i was there watching the girls getting their makeup done, helping wk w his hair, just talking nonsense and slacking around... :P hee!! then of course, everyone got to change... and we were, fashionably late... just like everyone else! lol... we thot we were gonna be quite late, and surprise, when we took the lift down, many many pple stepped out of the lifts... great timing huh? ;)

the nite was quite good save for a few minor blimps in organising... and the fact it was at suntec. well, i guess the great company made up for everything else... :) my face cracked from posing for too many photos, but it was all really great fun...! hmmm, i'm really glad i did go in the end... haha. after a long deliberation after the prom, hs, nick, weili, aaron and i decided to go to MS to club... hee, it was quite fun! haha, my drink got stolen though... lol. it interesting to see how different pple would let loose in the club... it was really an eye opener. it was really quite fun, and i would like to go again should i have the time... but its a costly affair cuz cab's the only way home. haha...

monday... did some shopping after waking up so late, played tennis. nvm abt tennis... was crappy. haha. tuesday... haha, great day...! went to watch sch for seduction among other things i shall keep private... ;) the movie was quite silly... but well, a little funny too... :P wed... yuan's farewell... so sad, he's going into NS tmr... hur, i've tried my best to help him out, helping him find out stuff he needs to know. hope it has helped... he seemed kinda depressed abt it, hope the red packet my mum gave him helped? ;) we played tennis, cards, blah blah... and was actually gonna either go pubbing w yh n co, or club w hs n co... but was tired, and decided to go do up a bit more uni app stuff... so i went home... haha, see, i'm a gd boy... ;) and yh was so sweet, made a really nice shirt for each of us... shall post pix of it and dissect all the special features of the shirt in the next entry... ;)

today... went to k box. *gasp*. and i actually sang... lol! had quite a lot of fun w kat n gary... hurhur, they were such great company! :) sang till my voice went hoarse... and went bowling after tt... and got 2 turkeys in tt game... :) hee, got a high score of 160... v amazing considering i scored 29 in the first 4 frames only... haha! think i can bowl better when i'm relaxed... ;) after tt, we just went round parkway cuz the silly pool place was crowded... :/ hmmmm, but what a fun day filled w so much laughs! ha! :)

oohh... it feels so nice to have a quiet day to myself, where i can blog in peace... :) guess we all need days like these to recharge our batteries huh? ;) been too lazy n busy to blog... bleah...

sighs it seems like just yesterday when i was playing my Sims 2 game, getting promoted to a business tycoon so i go to work in a helicopter, but actually it was last fri... time really passes too fast, and tt's counting the fact tt i hardly slept much these few days... it sucks tt i wun even have much time to spend w everyone now b4 i'm gone... :( so on 2nd thots, i shall have less lazy and quiet days these hols... ;)

see the reason i've not been getting sleep is due to chalet's and stayovers... haha, nick came over on monday for a stay over... played Halo 2 to the wee hours (like 5++) of the morning, then i hooked up my laptop to the tv and played Sims 2 and Warcraft on it, it was so uber cool! hurhur, esp when u can just lounge on the couch and look at the tv, instead of squinting at the little screen now... ;)

then had an interesting sleep tennis session... lol! it was like moby, yuan and yh were at my house already, but i was still lazing in bed refusing to get up... lol! but sleep tennis sucked! i really couldn't play in tt state, hitting everything everywhere... lol! then after tt session, me n yh went for a dye job... well, i really didn't know what to expect... i wanted to streak my hair this rather light color, but then, the hairdresser told me, i'd have to sit there for hours, getting my hair bleached 2 rounds, then dying it... so of course i didn't agree cuz i decided it'd make me bankrupt... ;) so i just stuck to usual and more boring colors... well, it turned out quite nice though its not the color i wanted... too bad its kinda a waste of money cuz it'd be shaved of soon... hur... yh had his done too, it was amusing seeing how stressed he was abt it, cuz he just couldn't get used to the fact tt his hair was lighter... LOL!

then tried to go look for a shirt w nick n zp... i really didn't know y i went w them to town... was sooo tired, and not in the mood to look. so yeah, in the end, i really didn't look much... wasted time... :P haha! then, upon much reminders tt i was supposed to go to the chalet w the xbox and stuff, i rushed down to the class chalet. wah, it was so ulu, and dark, i was afraid of getting lost. well, i did... *embarrassed* almost went into the wrong chalet, and there were these pple just sitting there looking at me... :/ ha...

most of the time, i think i was too lazy and not helping out much... i feel so bad now... :/ but anyways, we did have quite a lot of fun playing cards and all... :D its interesting for me how i always win quite easily, or lose so badly... its too extreme... haha! mr chan and his wife joined us for cards too... they're kinda a cute couple... the wife loves to sa jiao to him in front of us, but some pple seemed quite put off by it... lol!

well, anyway, had an interesting experience where the guys plus mich tried to go lanning at like 11+? lol... we went high and low looking for a lan shop, and it was quite silly... but well, we did manage to find 1 at katong shopping center, but it apparently had no aircon, so it was freaking stuffy... :/ quite terrible... so anyway, it was quite fun playng late hours in the night, new experience! ;)

so i slept from 7-4 today... stupidly set my alarm for 12am instead of 12pm... so half my day's gone... sighs. shall sleep less so i've more time to spend from now on... :P

gosh... so unluckily man... I think my chances of ever getting into Stanford are gone, if i had any in the first place... sighs.

my CT's envelope is missing somehow... I got an email telling me they didn't receive it... WTH lor... and they gave me a dead line... send it by monday... haha! as if its possible... my CT is going overseas, and well, some portions of the school report are handwritten... and they've been sent off, so no backup... hurhur... nothing i can do abt it huh? sighs... have to 任命 liao lor... what to do? :/ bah...

oh well, other than this little problem... the day has been rather good... found out tt the ipod photo is out now... haha, just have to get my dad to go down and get it if possible! yay, an early xmas pressie... :D and hmmm, watched the incredibles today... wow, what a fab movie! its so good, i think it deserves 6 stars! :) wonderful!! woo...

but its back to the books, so much to mug... haiz...

woo, last 2 days have been so enjoyable after tiring exams on monday and tuesday... :P seriously, bio, chem and math in 2 days is just... exhausting!! ;)

hmmm, yesterday, gotta play tennis... so happy to be able to do tt after so long lor... hee, at first the rust was unbelievable...! couldn't hit anything squarely on the racket... :/ but well, backhand proved to be quite good, able to hit angles, depth with pace and consistency! :) forehand was crap, like it had been for weeks... but, i suddenly had thuis idea to go to the grass court, and so yh n cm just hit with me there for a while. cuz it was grass, i had decided to flatten my forehand, and when we returned to the hardcourts, i was hitting so much more consistently harder and deeper!! hee, dun ask me why my flat forehand can be more consistent... its strange... ;) after tt, went w yh and his mum to eat! his mum was so nice... :P haha...

k, after lunch, went to meet nick and weili for pool... bleah, i really wasn't playing well at all lor... :x hurhur... tycoed my way ard... and weili commented tt it was amusing to play with me cuz u never know what is going to happen... so true, one brilliant shot, and then another crap shot... :/ :P well, at least its entertaining la... ;)

on my way there, i went into CD Rama, trying to look for shania's greatest hit album... didn't quite find it. but just as i was walking out, realised they were playing her album, so i went to look harder and found it! yay! :) so happy to have found her greatest hit package... seems like its gonna do so well in US too... gd for her... :D

then, i got tempted by HALO 2 as well! haha, shaw has these huge booths advertising them lor... so i went to look at them... and wow, i was so tempted. after much much deliberation, i bought it... sighs, am so broke though... :( ATM no money, and overspent tt day... had to borrow... hur, must stop spending so much liao... ;) woo, the game is fun... shit, not a good time to get the game hor? ;)

haha, today's been absolutely fun too... went to cut hair... then went to those really cheap cd shops tt import their CDs from china, so they're original but cost only $5-$7?! haha... yeah la, got some chinese stuff on it, but its minimal, and if u're buying chinese CD it doesn't matter... its the same! hur... so i couldn't resist and bought 4... lol... :/

then, found the xbox 'lan shop'... was so fun lor! played all kinds of games... its not quite tt ex, though more ex than a computer lan shops... but the extremely comfortable couch thingies more than make up for the prize... :D must bring u guys there one day... so many places i wanna go! the dec hols seem too short... :(

this show is amazing... one of the best concerts I've seen... its got great visuals, and of course, great LIVE singing... :) X-tina is just great man... and who cares if u think she looks like a tramp or whore, she can sing and perform. and she can put up a great show!! well spent time watching it... :P

its really gotta good mix of songs where she's dancing and not quite singing so much, and songs where she sings the whole song... beautifully... :)

First physics... hmmm, I failed to 'lg' my values the first time round, I wondered why my graph looked like a curve. then trying to fiddle w the equation left me w... no time. k la, so rushed the other experiment and came back to this... hmmm, ok, so I erased everything and drew it again. calculations on the next page all done... then... hmmm, got an anomalous point, maybe i should, alter it! *punch in values into calculator*, eh, why such a small shift can cuz such a huge movement of the pt ah?!! *check check* oh shoot! i forgot to square (1/T)... no time to plot 3rd graph... ooops. so sad... arrghh, so dumb rite?! then for chem pract, somehow, I'm blind la. for QA, perform the following tests on FA6. Somehow, I just did all my tests on FA4, and hmmm, eh, why all negative tests ah? WTH am i supposed to deduce?! @(*#*@& lol... then I thot... hmmm, didn't something like tt happen to me during Bio Prelims?!! *frantically searhes bottles*, damn, I'm using HCl!! no wonder like tt la... grrrr... then so suay somemore, do kinetics exp halfway, stopwatch spoils. garrrr, have to redo. i'm like some walking disaster... :/

other days have just been quite nice too I guess... after a few insanely late nites, I've finally sent off my essays to Stanford! :D hee, dunno why i put in so much effort, I doubt I'll get in... ;) then, managed to play tennis on Fri! yay, it didn't rain... -gasp-. me and yh won doubles 6-1! hurhur... revenge... :P then we had the most amusing monopoly game, where we lent the power of multiple company cooperation... :P yuan got the orange stretch all by himself (what whore luck), and so refused to trade anything. so, yh, cm and me, decided tt we should sign contracts to cooperate... so we, the CEOs of our companys, decided we'll have movable funds and properties... and since I had the most funds, I was assigned with developing the green, and cm the pink and yh the brown. with our movable houses and funds, we quickly developed green, and then pink... though yh died in the process, it was ok, cuz our cooperation was getting bigger! :P and of course we won... ;) the wonders of expanding yr companies... ;) :P well, yuan wasn't too amused... ;)

and yesterday, I watched Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow!! Yes! finally... :D hee, it was v nice, I thoroughly enjoyed it. so quite a few pplethinks the trailer is cheesy, but whatever, its nice... :) but then had to sit 2nd row, bleah... was having a butt cramp... LOL...

these days, it seems i like to sit at my computer, searching for song lyrics and listening to songs tt never meant much to me, tt i never really paid attention to... hmmm, time passes so fast when u do tt, since each song averages 4mins? LOL!

anyway, feeling so lethargic these days... *yawns* despite sleeping quite a bit... maybe its cuz of my weird sleeping patterns... i.e. waking up only past 10, usually 11-12.. :/ thank god today's pract was afternoon shift lor, or else i think i'd be doing it in my dreams... :P when i started doing the pract, I was still so sleepy though, practically couldn't think... lol. luckily i got it all together after some time... was quite a fun pract, cuz no heating was involved, so we didn't have to go into sauna mode... ;)

crabs are smart! haha... parents bought live crabs today and left them in the sink... i wanted to test the strength of their pincers, thus poked the pincer with a pair of metal scissors - no reaction. then, i used the scissors and dangled some left over chicken from lunch, and *wham*, the chicken is snapped in half!! i was like... thank god, i had decided not to test w my fingers... or else, i wonder what would've happened! lol...

2 more interesting things i saw... at quiksilver yesterday, "Only 1 person per changing room"... hmmm, perhaps there were shaky changing rooms? ;) or perhaps, the pple stayed in there for hours... :P and i set my washing machine to wash clothes (duh), and moments later, it beeped! i was like... huh...? n went to look, it said, "HELP! I need water." I was like... LOL!

anyway, i was telling my dad tt i wanted to change my specs yesterday... n today, i wiped my specs, and it snapped into half. hur, so now he thinks i broke it on purpose... :P

went to the supermarket to shop for groceries after ordering new specs... wow, i feel like some caveman! haven't been there in ages, and i practically just swiped everything off the shelf... yummy, can't wait to eat all the stuff i bought... :q

one more thing... dun even ask me abt my SATs... or be prepared for a tirade of curses... ;) n who'd have believed tt Singapore beaches could actually look decent from a distance... ;)

gosh... just been such a busy and crazy week... mugging for SATs, getting back prelim results and settling uni applications... phew. what a busy last week of school! am kinda glad its all over... :) dun think i'm quite feeling the nostalgia yet, but well, u can't blame me - its just been exhausting. but i think i'll really be missing everything very soon. its kinda scary to think that its the last time i'll ever be with my dearest friends in a school again, some i've been used to seeing day in and out for the past 9 years? such a tremendous change... i'll really miss it... i love u all... am gonna miss u guys... :'( i dun care... i'm gonna make everyone take pix w me on friday's farewell assembly... u guys better all come!! dun pon ah! :P

anyway, highlight of the week... attending the Alicia Keys concert!! :D went w yh, and it was absolutely fabulous! she totally rocks, haha, i dunno how else to describe her... she can dance now... and she sure was working tt stage, shaking her booty! :D wow... and she's really got some spunk too, the way she takes a drink, the way her singers wipe sweat for her... lol! true star... ;) and her vocals were excellent as well, on tune most of the time. her piano performances are really amazing, she's so natural, so talented! playing such hard pieces and singing all the while is no mean feat... every cent was worth it man... was totally blown away. i just wish i had brought a camera... :P

ok, let's not start on today... yet... hur.

friday was the last paper... it was Bio 'S'... well, i felt i made the right choice not to mug cuz, to be honest, i dun think it'd have helped much. i should've drank some coffee before tt though... cuz i kept dozing off in the middle when i had trouble thinking of any brilliant points, so i got really drowsy. cost me lotsa time! :/

after tt, had a nice day out... watched resident evil w nick, yh n yuan... its not as bad as reviews made it out to be... it was exciting, and very cool. though sometimes, so cool, till it was lame... :P yh was constantly amusing me when he hid behind his hands during really thrilling parts...! LOL!! and lunch at Olio's Dome was just fabulous... it sure cost a bomb, but the quality of the food made up for it. i had some sorta codfish wrapped in bacon, drizzled w some buttery sauce... yum... :) evening was tennis... played ok and managed to beat cm 6-1 in a surprisingly easy victory. backhand down the line was working well, hitting a few return winners down tt area... :) against yh was a tougher match, 6-3... wasn't able to hit as many clean shots, and became somewhat passive. thankfully, picked up my game towards the end...

sat was a rest day, for i was exhausted... slept and slept, woke up and napped... until late at night, then went for my grandma's bday party... wasn't terribly thrilled, but i guess it was fun catching up a little here and there

sunday was tiring, but really happy one... :) played some tennis, then went to ikea for lunch! after tt, went home to shower and rest, and went out again... saw opc at e mrt station, but he was rushing off so fast, i couldn't really stop him... LOL! went to walk walk... then watched White Chicks! :D OMG... tt movie is so funny, its such a 'must see'!! let's see, i dun think i stopped laughing for more than a min! hurhur!! i think the line, 'Yr mama's so old tt when u squeeze her n*pples, powdered milk comes out' was such a classic... of course, tt wasn't the funniest thing... its just so amusing! :)

anyway... on to today. well, its really a crazy up and down day... reached school late and got booked. haha... oops! played some tennis w my classmates... think they should all take tennis lessons together after A's or sth, it'd be quite fun! :) k, then was GP... tt was a pleasant surprise, as i got my first ever A2, and thus topped the class... then got back Bio pract n MCQ... did really well... then came Chem... well, i expected a screw up, but well, it was far worse than what i had expected. hurhur... i dunno what to say abt it... I was frankly in shock though i acted as if it was ok. its my worst ever chem result in 2 years i think (relative to others in my class, and probably by raw score too), am so disgusted w myself. kinda regret not working harder, and taking things for granted. guess this is like a fire under my butt then will wake me up? LOL... it totally sucked tt i just got beaten so easily... bah. n physics... i shall reserve my comment until i see my paper.

feel so bad not fulfilling some commitments i made... but i felt so bummed, and having other stuff i had to do, i guess i just had to choose. sorry... anyway, i guess hs is right... at least times like these let me realise how much pple around me care, and it really touches me. i feel blessed n thankful to have so many nice friends around me... :) well, thank u n i wish u guys all the best! :) i'm sure each and everyone of u will make it... haha, there's a lesson i learnt today, u've to work to get what u want. things are not just gonna happen for u all the time...

and boy is babygirl powerful, a swipe at the chair and this happens! see, the racket is weak lor, tt's why mine broke too... :P

friday was fab!! we couldn't have had a nicer paper to end the week, thanks a lot Bio Department! :) went to queensway w yihan to search for his new racket... got it for quite cheap, and the racket has such wonderful packaging, its just so pretty. perfect for a image conscious person like so-and-so... ;) so poorthing though, spilt milo on his pants... n the pants are really waterproof lor, milo trickled down all the way to his socks!! :/ 2nd time someone has wet his pants in front of me, other person was nick. in fact, his was worse, squeezed chilli over his crotch and looked like he has just had his period... LOL! after tt, rushed down to suntec to have buffet lunch w hs, aaron, claire and wk! was quite nice, ate quite a bit, but i wanted to eat more actually... but was just afraid i'd be too bloated and sleepy to enjoy the rest of my day, so i stopped. aaron was so lousy lor, ate so little! think claire and hs ate more! tsk! :P and so amusing, we were stacking plates over, and crushing the undereaten food... so wasteful! then went to marina to pool and take neoprint! (btw, who has it? i want a copy!) pooled for a while only, then had to rush off for tennis... was amused w how lousy i had become at pooling... missed the simplest shots at the most inopportune moments...! hur! tennis was disrupted by intermittent showers... but had fun playing monopoly which i won! it was so exciting... cm forced me into a bad trade, but thanks to my whore luck at dice throwing, i landed on free parking and got lotsa money, and managed to build up my property without landing on other pple much... and when i bankrupted yh and built up a nice long stretch of hotels, the rest was history... :D was such an empathic victory with my wades of $500 notes... hurhur!

next day, went to try rollerblading! was quite fun... needed help at the beginning cuz i couldn't really move without feeling like i'd slip... haha. but it got much better, could skate small distances after an hour... :) maybe i'd learn more one day... :P after tt, paid a visit to zp! got to pool again, but wasn't really feeling like it cuz i was v tired, so just anyhow whacked... sometimes, it actually works well! says a lot abt my 'aiming' huh? ;) his mum was so nice! gave us lotsa foods... yummy! so greedy hor? *embarrassed*

sunday was also v good... played tennis w WTA World pple... and yeah, after a long layoff from matches, i guess i did ok... 1st match was a disaster... made 5 doublefaultss or thereabouts in 26 pts? and only 13 pts were my serves... wth was tt all abt?! ridiculous... threw in DFs every set pt i had in the beginning... was lucky to scrape thru 14-12 7-4... second match was easier, but my opponent was obviously under the weather, not running much... finals was... hmmm, evidence of me not being match tough. 7-3 6-3, with three match pts, and i blew it!! lost like 7-3 7-9 0-7... lost the last 9 pts lor... and wasted 4 match pts... really need to work on match toughness cuz it was obvious i should've won... bah. well, nvm the lost... the programme after tt was great! went tampines mall to grab a bite (yeah, i was the only hungry one apparently)... then went to this place called settlers! was v fun leh... must bring some of ya'll one day! :P its this nice cafe where u get to choose from hundreds of board games and play while eating! its quite cheap per hour, so i feel its v worth it... :) played a game called fruit card, which well, its test of reaction speed, plus counting ability. almost died at the beginning, but ended up top 2! :D then, played risk, which well, i kinda won... ;) i was just being nice, so i won... pple who love to kill each other dun usually do too well in risk... haha! then it was taboo, which somehow i was being lousy at... :/ following which, we had this game called dragon delta... it was so fun, v strategic game. cards determine what moves u make, and u put five down at the start of each turn, n no changing of the order is allowed. so u gotta try to predict what other pple do as well as achieve yr own goal as well... was so jian lor those pple! there was a turn where all of them blocked all my moves... so i could do nothing?! hur... but it was fun to sit there and figure out what to do... well i won too! :D then there was another game, which was hilarious... aiya, lazy to describe, but well, it involves lotsa crapping, so i can foresee many pple liking it... ;)

monday was back to earth... did 1 miserable chem S paper... tuesday i slacked a lot... and wed, i tried to mug a whole uni organic textbook. so not smart... i guess i realise why pple actually spend 4 years in uni... ;) haha! chem S today was hilarious... when i looked at first 2 qns, i was like... err, can i even score 1 mark?! ;) how aptly titled the paper is... "Paper 0"! hurhur... quite amusing an experience... but so sad, i think i could've done more la... just too blurred during the paper liao...

yay, one last paper! can't wait... :)

after tt, gotta do some shopping, bought some nice tennis outfit at last... :) its my first time buying adidas, as opposed to reebok. i just couldn't bring myself to buy the roddick shirt, despite the fact aaron likes it... lol! so loud and ugly... :/ well, kinda broke now... so looks like no buffet liao hor? ;) was so happy to get to go to tampines after going orchard so often... i miss it lor! i used to go there so often when i was younger... it felt really nice... :P

then got home and actually got to spend some time w my family... watching TV together. yes wow u say... but well, better than nothing. seldom happens on weekdays k... :)

yeah, and i got to play some tennis...!!! was hitting the ball quite well, then lost concentration and started spraying... and something so paiseh happened lor. my stupid watch stopped working, then these 2 pple stepped into the court, and i though, 20mins early?! so ridiculous, and told them time's not up yet. and i was quite rude... n the guy was like, dun worry, not taking the courts now in an even more disgusting manner. well, turns out he came back short while later and said it was 9 rudely... and i was gonna argue, and realised my watch hadn't moved. i was quite... ... ;)

after tt, just sat at the benches, looking up at the clear nite skies. its so quiet and dark at my condo, its just so soothing and relaxing. the sky was so beautiful... the moon, stars and even the ocassionaly plane tt streaked across the sky... i just wish i could do this every night... i'm so gonna build glass roof with a reclining couch under it lor when i build my mansion... ;) then there was this cat which went around, following...! refused to go away, kept climbing onto the bench, and even climbed on me, dirtying my shirt w its paws! ah wells, it was nice when it nudged itself against me... i love cats! :)

just been such a kind day for me... i wish it wun end quite so soon... :P

friday and sat were great... friday i gotta play tennis, w my Tour Diablo racket... its a joy to play w, absolutely fabulous! :) its so great off the ground, providing a heap load of spin! hmmm... played on saturday as well, didn't play v well i thought... missed too many shots, but i guess i'm still in the adaption state. its been quite amazing tt i've been able to switch from head heavy to head light in the first place! hurhur... :) watched The Terminal yesterday as well... I thought its quite a nice movie (but then again, I've low standards w regards to movies sometimes...)... Just been having lazy days recently... haha, and mooncakes are making me fat!! so many things to eat... yummy! n it doesn't help tt someone actually commented tt i've fat thighs... *rolleyes*

oh anyway, i bought Nelly's album 'Suit'... well, he has 2 albums out at the same time... wow, what a way to get pple to buy more. arghhh... but i've only bought one cuz its ex to buy both... so if anyone wants to buy 'Sweat', we could exhange and RIP it man! :P anyhow, i like the album quite a lot... better than Usher's IMO... just had a thought... I wanna learn how to speak and act GHETTO! haha... it'd be fun... ;)

was totally shitty today. was doing the chem paper, it was generally quite good, until some giant wasp or hornet things, which was larger than my thumb decided to land on me. i didn't know there was a bug on me, until Alfred Chan came up to me and said, "Xin Quan, stand up slowly and follow me to the back of the hall." I was puzzled but obliged. Then Edwin Lim took a large envelope and brushed something off my back and i saw this huge black disgusting hornet on the ground. arghh... i went back to do the paper but was sooo flustered and distracted. its like i would have this feeling there was another hornet on me or sth... :( now i know why at first, i had this feeling someone was tapping me on the back... the @#*(# hornet...!!

add tt to the fact i didn't practise thermodynamics, and chose to the do the stupid question on Born Haber Cycle instead of kinetics, i think i killed myself for this paper... damn, and it all started so well... but its really my fault for not focusing after tt, and well, not practising thermodynamics lar... gee, i'm just so annoyed tt i can't do well for chem now. was hoping tt i'd finally be able to do what i've not been able to do the past few common tests and promos...

been quite a nice week so far... hols are always nice, esp when u've got the US Open showing...

went to watch Stepford Wives on tuesday... n i thought it was pretty good lor, quite funny and somewhat thought provoking... ok, i'm convinced tt i'm quite screwed for prelims... mugging and snail's pace and not being terribly focused... :/ gd luck to me, k la, to everyone else too! :) :P

Zvonareva playing Dementieva, and though Zvonareva was playing so well, and up a set, she went berserk after being down 0-2 in the second set, and started whacking her head with the frame of her racket?!! and then her thighs and toes in subsequent points... and eventually, she burst out in tears at various points of the match. also saw her sreaming stuff i dun understand, prolly russian. so strange... she had the match in her hands, dunno what's wrong w her... :P

LOL! like i can't read the question myself... :/ then arghhh... turns out i read some other questions wrongly too, and had to erase all the millions of cells i drew and redraw... :( amazed i still managed to finish my pract! haha! oh during our lengthy quarantine period, had so much fun discussing our post grad nite activities... hmmm, lotsa our classmates will be coming after grad nite, but not for grad nite... says something huh? ;) :P

after pract... rushed down to center point to get demo racket... bah... its the N6, and somehow i can't use it. it fits yh's playing style sooo well though. works wonder w him... :) cm used his 1 handed BH during warmup and shanked so many balls, irritating me n yh... grrr... slut! :@

LOL!! and errr... some of the other acting and humming things were just... stomach splitting man... :P oh n cuz i can roll purple so well (its 1 of 9 faces), they decided to make a rule tt i've to roll twice, and get the lousier color... and surprise, at the crucial stage, i rolled purple twice in a roll! take that! :P i'm good at rolling die! :P

i've been inexplicably tired these few days regardless the amount of sleep i clock. its just silly tt i can't sit down for even half an hour to concentrate on getting into my brain. arghhh... :(

yesterday, after watching serena play her match in the morning, i went to sch, and wow, the programme for teacher's day was so short, it was over by the time i arrived at abt 915? lol... passed the presents to the teachers w some of the other classmates around... Mr Lim was like, "No i'm not wearing this!" after seeing the red boxers... haha... he hasn't seen the thong yet... ;) jeanne tan was so delighted w her avocado milkshake, and i was sceptical abt its taste. she then tried to offer me some, saying, "Maybe u'll get hooked on it too"... lol.

after tt, was really looking forward to going to centre pt to get some rackets for demo... but it totally sucked tt all the rackets tt i wanted to demo were on loan. had lunch three times tt day... :P but i didn't quite eat a lot each time though... :P

went to bedok for a 1h hitting session w ra n alwyn... i totally sucked. lol... was just not able to control the ball at all... which is excatly why i need my racket replaced, or i need to look for a new one. was highly frustrated tt i was just spraying balls all over the place... hope this improves... :/

btw, serena really went on court in her denim skirt and black boots... and boy did tt outfit generate so much buzz....! serean's surely of star status now... :P

mood: upset, irritable and depressed...

hurhur, if u love reading abt screw ups, u sure r at the right place. my life is so full of them these days. f*cked up my chem pract so bad... just cuz of one bloody QA test which didn't produce the result. its so ridiculous tt if u dun see 1 result n u r screwed. and as yihan pointed out, all my observations are consequently wrong! ha. u see... Copper is blue, produces blue ppt. but the solution is yellow, so u always see yellow. in effect, u must write, blue ppt in yellow solution (which u can't see until u know its copper then u know u r supposed to see tt). well, the one test i failed to see e result required is the last one, where u are supposed to wash the copper residue, and it is supposed to turn from green to blue. well, almost all my residue was washed off, and it was still green... so wth!?! bah... and its so lame tt its called 'observations', yet normal human eyes obviously can't see those things they expect us to see... i poured the ppt w e solution on a tile, n guess what? it was still green ppt in green solution. whatever. so tt makes 2 for 2... wonder how many are coming. oh did i mention, my kinetics had results so off, its just... laughable. i dunno what to make of it at all... :P

guess when i'm in such a mood, i can be unreasonable. hmmmm, think i was unduly harsh, but i really got irritated by some things u said. sorry abt it...

anyway, after tt shit of a pract, hs, wk, claire n i went to swensons to pig out. well, tt sort of lifted our moods a little... good food usually does... :) then hs n i headed to orchard to get presents... i helped e class buy e presents (they wanted) for Mr Lim's teacher's day gift... they are... here!

stranglely enough, e one w less material costs more... haha. hope he doesn't kill us... :P this wasn't quite as embarrassing as when hs was shopping for underwear for presents for other pple... i promptly ran away from the lingerie section after a while... lol. but all in all, was quite fun... n took my mind off things for a while... :) nice to have nice pple round... :D

and... this is my cracked racket. this should dispel all allegations of racket abuse. just look at where the crack is! its on the inside, obviously due to the strain placed on the racket by the strings... :P

yesterday, watched susilo win his match! so proud of him, felt so happy for S'pore (more so than during any stupid speeches or NDP stuff)... he almost choked, but he kept it all together... :) meanwhile, was watching some really great fencing bouts! woo, they're good, fancy and precise bladework, amazing footwork too... i really miss fencing, its a sport tt is so mental. u think of what u wanna do, and try yr best to do it, adapting and changing as yr opponent does, and finding loopholes in his defence... :D

anyhow, i'm officially sick of jap food and swensons. went to sakae (again) w yh today for lunch... ate some different stuff, but the food there is quite limited in a sense... but ooh, the ipod mini is so pretty!! i'd so love to have one... lol... ;)

tennis was great today... i think i'm on my way to fixing my forehand... sorta changed my grip and swing a little, seemed to work fine. backhand down the line was impeccable... hit so many right on the line or in the corner today... :D

wow, slept at 4am yesterday chatting and trying to watch olympics opening ceremony... died today... was dragged by my parents to attend the scholarship day in sch today... i must admit it was decent actually. i guess i wun mind taking one if i get to study what i want and work in a nice place... :)

interesting to see the track and netball court being used as a car park...


had a super filling lunch w my parents and nick at crystal jade... overestimated our abilities to eat... but nothing was wasted cuz da bao for my sis... :P then rotted around, dozing off frquently the whole day... :/ can't seem to start mugging damn it.

grandma's bday was nice... i gotta see my cousin again! :) sat next to him, and he was telling me all abt his NS and stuff... haha, not terribly reassuring though... ;) and lol, he got to go back early to camp cuz he failed a safety theory test...! lol... :P vegetarian food sucks, its so oily, i feel like puking... :( am so lethargic once again... sigh!

phew... tired after long tennis session, but more on tt later... anyway, past 2 days have been better... i guess after every down there's an up, plus nice TV shows and great friends never fail to cheer up... :D maybe the fact tt i've been able to go home earlier now adays is good too... ;)

anyway, i bought my 256MB memory card! it was only 80, and now my phone can effectively function an MP3 player, just as well since my discman is cranky... stupid salesman gave me my $1 change in 10 cent coins though... :(

train ride yesterday was amusing... there was this old man, who stepped into the train and turned to this aunty, who is quite old herself, then said, 'Oi!' and pointed to the sign behind her. it was the sign which said pls give up yr seat to the more needy or sth like tt... it was so ungentlemanly and in fact, just out right rude. but i also saw 2 instances of nice pple giving up their seats to others... :) yay, always good to know there're nice pple round... then there were pple taking up 2 seats cuz they were so fat or just plain refused to try to sit in their own seat. so ridiculous! i mean can u let 2 pple sit instead u fat arses!? lol...

anyhow i really need to start on revision soon... having lunch w hs yesterday made me realise some pple are so freaking motivated (no, not u hs... :P), and i need to spur myself on too!! rite... like it'd work.

today during chem pract, i did something v fun... i found some part of the floor, tt looked like it was made of some stone n not concrete, so i poured acid on it, and surprised, it started reacting and producing bubbles and gas! lol... maybe if i do enough, they'd be a crevice? :P

tennis was fun today! after hitting wildly for fun, i decided to keep more balls in play, and towards the end, i was finally getting some feel again after not feeling anything with these crappy strings for some time... like yesterday, it was so bad, i gave up hitting any groudstrokes and went to serve... :/ was DISMAL!! ra's court sense is impressive, and al's forehand is still something i wanna try to learn... :P refused to run much cuz my joints and muscles are all v strained... :( they kinda hurt... anyway, i managed to hit cm w a ball again today... lol, and then yh, and then alwyn! i hit yh and alwyn consecutively! quite, shocking!! and alwyn got hit a few times, must be the attention seeking bright orange shirt... the balls got attracted... :o anyway, i'm sorry yh and al, and i meant to hit u cm... :P

hmmm, was planning to slp after fixing my tagboard... see, the textboxes and buttons look so good now...! :D but, i decided slping's a waste of time... so maybe i wun slp... lol.

anyway, so dumb... i'm glad i gave up mugging for bio test yesterday n enjoyed myself chatting... it would've been such a waste of time cuz it was mostly application... bah... it wasn't as bad as the last lecture test though... lol, tt one was just hilarious... ;)

these few days have been ok... monday i had an og outing! was fun to meet my ogls and og mates again. but bus 16, cuz of nicoll highway collapse took so long to reach orchard i was half an hour late! then we went swenson's (i'm so sick of it, cuz i went there today again n on friday too, so 3 of five days?!)... and after our maincourses, we happily wanted to order the now famous $1.39 topless 5... but they said, 'sorry, we dun have it here'.. so i asked y, and they said, dunno, only this branch dun have. and we were like... WTH! bah... nvm, our ogls treated us to earthquakes instead... good bargain eh? ;) dun have photos we took yet, but i've one i took w my phone... its one of Jeremy, the MONSTER... eating the melted and gooey remains of our earthquake... so gross... :/ haha, at first our ogls tried to play a prank on us, they said they'd draw money, and after like 0.5h, they called and said, opps, we're not coming back. then they were hiding behind some window looking at our reactions... err... nice try, but we aren't tt stupid hor. at most we pawn yr digi cam to pay lor... :P



singapore idol has been the talk of the town, we william hung wannabes, and retarded banana men! gee, i never knew there so many desperados out there?!! but i was laughing my stomach out watching damn... it was sooo much more entertaining than the stupid NDP. my only highlight was tt i managed to spot nick's dad on tv... lol, first time i spotted someone i know can?! :D

plus i'm so sad... hs managed to get a 128MB MMC for her phone free, and a bluetooth headset too! and i got nothing?!! and i paid more for my phone... *rolleyes* ah well, tt's for buying when it first came out... hmmmph, i shall save money and get a 256MB MMC! :P
